Long before I studied interior design, I experienced its impact first-hand. After an injury left my dad paralyzed, my mom was set with the task of renovating our family home. Simple changes made a huge difference in our everyday lives, not just physically easier for him, but also mentally & emotionally for the family as a whole.
Later, I found myself deep in research of the psychology behind design, not only in functionality & meeting physical needs, but also how concepts of colour theory, light, and the use of natural elements can intentionally create spaces that feel good as good as they look.
Now, with Michaela’s Homes & Interiors, we organically incorporate those concepts into designs that are built upon your unique space, personal style, and vision for making your house a home. And wow, do I love creating that for you.
